Our project at NWG2021

The Northwest Glaciology meeting is a fairly informal meeting open to anyone who affiliates themselves with the Pacific Northwest in any way. It was also the first time I got to present my research in front of a glaciology audience.

I was excited for this opportunity, even though the meeting was virtual for the second time during the pandemic. The Northwest is home to some of the experts in the optical properties of ice and snow, and the talk was well received. I got to meet many new faces and exchange ideas, hopefully some of them will lead to new collaborations.
